Quality Assurance Engineer Job
In2M Technologies Pvt Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary of Finicity, USA, seeks applications for the position of a QA Engineer at our Navi Mumbai office in CBD Belapur. This is a full time position which reports to a manager in India.
We’re looking for QA professional with 2 - 4 years of experience in real-world enterprise web application QA testing. The ideal candidate will work closely with software development teams, identifying the testing requirements of the solution; must have an in-depth understanding of QA best practices; should have knack of programming with ability to code in Java/J2ee/Shell Scripting.
Candidate must be fluent in both spoken and written English with independent interaction with development and program management in India and US.
Requirements:
· Experience in testing of web based software applications.
· Strong skills in test planning, debugging, defect reporting
· Experience in different testing strategies; functional testing, regression testing, load testing, integration testing, white box testing, UAT
· Hands on experience with SQL and relational databases with experience in data driven testing, setting up test data.
· Working knowledge of Java/J2ee/Shell Scripting
· Understanding user requirements and identifying the testing requirements for the solution in co-ordination with development teams. Analyze the impact of solution on the system as a whole and put in testing strategies to measure these.
· Knowledge of industry standard best practices for software testing.
· Experience in usage of test automation tools (Jmeter, Grinder, Webload, Selenium, DBUnit, etc.)
· Identifying Root Cause Analysis and Tracking the same.
· Experience in setting up test environments including installation and configuration for Tomcat, backup and restore of database (Oracle preferred).
Pluses:
· Experience of testing Adobe Flex, Ajax based web application.
· Setup of Apache web server and MySQL database.
Education:
Graduate in computer science or any related field.
